through end in sight

beyond theft — lies’ betrayals

past deceits’ shadows

through religion’s

— flimsy myths

 

extrapolations’ assumptions

past Gregorian chants

through Mozart’s

andantes

 

questions still arise

— arrive

answers forthcoming

slowly — at best

 

beyond everything

— else

 

something more

— awaits

past temporary

through temptation

 

solid?  don’t know

stagnant? — probably not

vital — enriching
